Builds Update3.3
Teams Update3.3
Dan Heng is a Wind-element character who follows the Path of the Hunt. His playstyle centers around inflicting the Slow debuff to boost his damage output. He’s relatively easy to build and synergizes well with debuff-oriented characters who can also apply Slow, allowing him to consistently benefit from his damage-boosting mechanics.

Best Cavern Relics

(2) Increases DMG dealt to enemies with debuffs by 12%.
(4) Increases CRIT Rate by 4%. The wearer deals 8%/12% increased CRIT DMG to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs. After the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the aforementioned effects increase by 100%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Dan Heng’s ability to inflict Slow makes him a great fit for this set, as it enhances his effectiveness against debuffed enemies. Pairing him with allies who can apply additional stat debuffs allows him to fully maximize the set’s effects and significantly boost his damage output.
(2) Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
(4) Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.
This set increases the damage of Dan Heng’s Skill and Ultimate. After using his Ultimate, he gains a buff that boosts the damage of his next Skill, further enhancing his burst potential.
(2) Increases Wind DMG by 10%.
(4) After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
Dan Heng can benefit from this set as it grants additional Wind DMG and advances his action after using his Ultimate, allowing for faster turns. However, it falls short in overall impact compared to the Pioneer Diver and Scholar of the Lost Erudition sets, which offer stronger bonuses that better align with his damage-scaling mechanics.

Best Planar Ornaments

(2) Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.
Basically, this set requires Dan Heng to have at least 135 SPD to activate the initial DMG boost. Reaching the 160 SPD threshold for the maximum bonus demands strong SPD substat rolls across all of his relics, making it a more stat-intensive option to fully optimize.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
Dan Heng benefits from this set as it boosts both his Basic ATK and Skill DMG. To fully activate its effects, he needs at least 70% Crit Rate, which the set itself partially provides—making it easier for him to reach that threshold and consistently trigger the damage bonus.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer's Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.
This set boosts Dan Heng’s Ultimate damage as long as he meets the 50% Crit Rate requirement. However, its Follow-Up Attack (FUA) DMG bonus is wasted on him, as his kit doesn’t include any Follow-Up Attacks—making the set only partially effective for his build.

Since Dan Heng doesn’t gain any Crit stats from his Traces, a Crit Rate Body is his top priority to ensure he can consistently land Critical Hits. He also benefits greatly from high ATK for stronger damage output and SPD to take more frequent turns, maximizing his overall effectiveness in battle.

Best Light Cones

SourceStellar Convergence, Light Cone Event Warp
Flowers and Butterflies
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 18~30%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, increases DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill by 6~10%. At the same time, increases the CRIT DMG of Ultimate by 12~20%. This effect can stack up to 6 time(s).
This is currently Dan Heng’s best Light Cone, as it provides him with valuable Crit Rate. If he reaches 160 SPD, he can fully unlock its effects, gaining increased Crit DMG for his Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate, significantly boosting his overall damage potential.
SourceStellar Warp, Light Cone Event Warp, Starlight Exchange, Stellar Convergence
Sweet Dreams
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 30~50%. When the wearer's Basic ATK or Skill DMG does not result in a CRIT Hit, increases their CRIT Rate by 36~60%, lasting for 1 turn(s). This effect can only trigger once every 3 turn(s).
This Light Cone greatly increases Dan Heng’s Crit DMG, but the Crit Rate buff only activates after he lands a non-critical hit with a Basic ATK or Skill. Therefore, he still needs to maintain at least 70% base Crit Rate even without the buff active, to ensure consistent critical hits once it’s triggered.
SourceHerta's Store
Chase
Increases the wearer's CRIT rate by 8~16%, and increases their CRIT rate against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50% by an extra 8~16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 20~40% for 2 turn(s).
This Light Cone initially provides Crit Rate, with an additional Crit Rate bonus when Dan Heng attacks enemies with 50% HP or less. Additionally, if he defeats an enemy, he gains an ATK boost for 2 turns, further enhancing his damage potential in chain battles.
SourceStellar Warp, Departure Warp, Character Event Warp, Light Cone Event Warp
Answers of Their Own
For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8~16%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.
This Light Cone grants up to 5 stacks of DMG boost when Dan Heng continuously attacks the same enemy. However, the stacks reset upon switching targets, making it highly disadvantageous against enemies that can redirect aggro or force target changes, limiting its consistency in certain encounters.
SourceStellar Warp, Departure Warp, Character Event Warp, Light Cone Event Warp
Record
Increases the wearer's ATK by 16~32%. If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the field, increases wearer's CRIT Rate by 12~24%.
This Light Cone grants an ATK boost and increases Dan Heng’s Crit Rate when there are only two enemies or fewer on the field, making it especially effective in boss fights or elite enemy encounters with limited targets.
SourceOperation Briefing, Echo of War, Memo-Keeping Light Casket, Light Cone Manifest
Stave Off the Lingering Cold
After entering battle, increases the wearer's SPD by 8~12% and DMG by 12~24%. When the wearer takes DMG, this effect will disappear. This effect will resume after the end of the wearer's next turn.
The effect it provides is underwhelming as it requires the wearer to not receive DMG.
