The Herta is an Ice-element character who follows the Path of Erudition. Her core mechanics revolve around building and consuming Interpretation stacks to power up her Enhanced Skill. She applies these stacks to enemies during battle, and the more stacks an enemy has, the stronger her Enhanced Skill becomes when used. Her Ultimate helps by consolidating stacks onto stronger enemies, setting up for a powerful burst.
The Herta also gains bonus damage when another Erudition character is on the team, making her especially effective alongside units like Jing Yuan or Himeko. Her kit emphasizes stack management and timing, rewarding players who plan their rotations to maximize burst damage.
Best Cavern Relics
(2) Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
(4) Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.
This is currently The Herta’s best relic set, as the majority of her damage comes from her Skill and Ultimate. It enhances her overall output by directly boosting the abilities she relies on most for burst damage.
(2) Increases Ice DMG by 10%.
(4) After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their CRIT DMG increases by 25% for 2 turn(s).
The Herta benefits greatly from this set, mainly due to the Crit DMG boost and the increase in Ice DMG, both of which directly enhance her burst potential. In comparison, The Scholar of the Lost and Erudition set falls significantly short, as it lacks the offensive boosts that truly scale with her kit.
Best Planar Ornaments
(2) Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When entering battle, if at least one other ally follows the same Path as the wearer, then the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 12%.
Since The Herta requires pairing with at least one other Erudition character, she can fully benefit from the Crit Rate buff provided by her kit or specific gear effects. This synergy enables her to consistently land critical hits, maximizing the damage potential of both her Enhanced Skill and Ultimate.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
This set is only partially effective for The Herta, as it boosts her Skill DMG—which aligns with her primary damage source. However, the Basic ATK enhancement it provides is largely wasted, since The Herta rarely uses her Basic Attack in typical rotations.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 4%. When an enemy target gets defeated, the wearer's CRIT DMG increases by 4%, stacking up to 10 time(s).
This set is only truly effective when The Herta is used in Pure Fiction, where she can fully capitalize on its stat boosts. The constant waves of enemies in that mode allow her to trigger her abilities more frequently, making the set’s bonuses significantly more impactful than in standard combat scenarios.

info
Prioritize reaching at least 80% Crit Rate before focusing on Crit DMG, as The Herta gains an 80% Crit DMG boost from her Bonus Ability when another Erudition character is in the team. This makes high Crit Rate essential for consistently triggering and maximizing the impact of her powerful Enhanced Skill and Ultimate.

Mind Game
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12~20%. When the wearer uses Ultimate, increases the Skill and Ultimate DMG dealt by the wearer by 60~100%, lasting for 3 turn(s). After the wearer uses Ultimate, if this instance of Ultimate consumed 140 or more energy, recovers 1 Skill Point. This is The Herta’s signature Light Cone, providing a solid Crit Rate boost and a significant increase to her Skill DMG—perfectly aligning with her core damage sources. Additionally, it restores a Skill Point after using her Ultimate, offering a valuable quality-of-life benefit that helps maintain team economy in longer battles.
A Storm Is Coming
After entering battle, increases the wearer's DMG based on their Max Energy. Each point of Energy increases DMG by 0.20~0.40%. A max of 160 Energy will be taken into account for this. This Light Cone grants a DMG bonus based on the Energy cost of The Herta’s Ultimate, making it a decent alternative. Since her Ultimate has a relatively high Energy cost, she benefits from a solid damage increase—especially during burst windows. However, it lacks the Crit-related boosts provided by her signature Light Cone.

Boundless Thought
